Romy Uelk, Assoc. AIA
Romy is President and Principal in Charge of Programming. Romy works closely with the client, their community and the design team to develop space requirements for the present, while planning for the future. She is involved throughout the entirety of each project. Her focus is on communicating the client’s needs to the design team to ensure that the end result is what best serves the client and their community. Romy received her Bachelor’s degree in Architecture from Drury University.
Michael Lyss, RA
Michael is Senior Vice President and Principal in Charge of Quality Control. He establishes the standards for services at KRJ. Michael brings expertise in maintenance planning and technology planning to our design process. Michael received a Masters of Architecture degree from Washington University. Michael is licensed to practice architecture in the state of Missouri.
James Alverson, AIA, LEED AP
Jamey is the Associate in Charge of Project Management. As Project Manager, Jamey is involved in all project phases from planning, code compliance, document development, through to the completion of construction. His extensive experience includes complex building renovations, additions and new construction. Jamey received his Bachelor of Arts, Major in Architecture from Washington University in Saint Louis and his Masters of Architecture from Columbia University in New York. Jamey is licensed to practice architecture in the State of Missouri and is a LEED Accredited Professional.
Tim Uelk, Assoc. AIA, LEED Green Associate
Tim is the Associate in Charge of Construction Administration. Tim coordinates and communicates information to the Owner, design team, and contractors during the construction phase. He also assists with project cost estimates throughout the project and surveys existing building conditions. Tim received his Bachelor’s degree in Architecture from Drury University. Tim brings extensive experience in building renovations, new construction, additions and project phasing to the KRJ team.
Sierra Dubis, Assoc. AIA
Sierra is a Project Designer and member of the construction document team. She graduated from the University of Kansas with her Masters of Architecture. Her project experience includes building renovations, additions and new construction.
